@EridanosEris @protectEvropa The difference is to which extent it's happening, Sweden for instance is doing much worse than other high QoL countries such as Finland

@EridanosEris @protectEvropa I disagree, at the end of the day if Nordic countries were that great, they wouldn't be the ones suffering the most from the migrant crisis. They have fantastic management but at the end of the day there are benefits & downsides.

@EridanosEris @protectEvropa I descend from German nobility yet I don't call for being ruled by Germans so that our GDP/C goes up. Also correct me on this but Plutal is part Russian himself.

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris given with how the war is going and how apathetic NATO is, it is not impossible for russia to win. that being said, it is not "inevitable"

@protectEvropa @EridanosEris Also prioritizing the economy over your national identity is just so fucking hilarious, muh "liberties". Ukranian Nationalists are spiritual liberals.

@protectEvropa @EridanosEris "Why not?" Why should they? It wouldn't be in their national intrest to not Swedify Ukraine. Also I find it funny how you subconsciously admitted that Russian victory & subsequent Russification is inevitable.

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris i was never talking about the national economy in the first place. i was talking about how the economy impacts the QoL. and whether that's russia, china, or NK, the average person lives extremely poorly when compared Europe, and ESPECIALLY when compared to the Nordic countries

@EridanosEris @protectEvropa Chinese management is not good, in particular they have an issue of people borrowing money for infrastructure projects in provincial areas so that they get promoted to Beijing, leaving issues for the next guy (who does the same). Not sure why they haven't fixed this.

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris strawman. i never said china has a bad economy. in fact, it has a very strong one, arguably the strongest. that being said, the QoL in china is horrid.
as i stated earlier, russians are incapable of discerning a "good country" apart from its GDP.

China having a successful economy is an objective reality sorry buddy. Also "Nordics who's countries are some of the best on earth", I just brought up how Nordic countries fail in other places

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris if Ukraine getting the QoL that the Scandinavian countries have at the moment means installing a Nordic puppet government, I am all for it.

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris reading comprehension might not be your strongest suit.
also i notice you praise chinas economy, which just goes to show how much of a herd mentality russians have. they are incapable of identifying their individual interests, as personal liberties dont exist for them. slаvеs. pic.twitter.com/UL5q3Hwkn3

@EridanosEris @protectEvropa I'd still rather have my country governed by it's own people than by foreigners, I mean - sure the Russian Tsar was Danish but the Tsars were basically russified and identified with their Russian side more. That's OBVIOUSLY not what Halvdan was implying.

@protectEvropa @EridanosEris Aren't you half Russian yourself though.
Also considering how Sweden handled immigration I don't think that'sa good idea.
Talking about degenerate kleptocracies though you should take a look inwards (Ukraine). Also China is one of the most economically successful states.

@punished_nitrro @EridanosEris actually, I would rather have a country be governed by Nordics, whose countries are some of the best on earth, than retarded russhits who run one of the most degenerate kleptocracies on earth, right behind china, iran, north korea, etc

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 Russia has been able to punch above its weight (militarily in particular) since industrialization, only held back first by inefficient soviet buerocracy & corruption. I don't believe Russia has that many enemies as to cause its own death, especially since nuclear war is unlikely

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 The younger generation here is much more radically anti-liberal than Millenials or Gen-X, and lack the Soviet nostalgia of the Boomers. Russian liberalism is a mostly diaspora phenomenon.
Many liberals left in 2022 aswell, the emigration was an expulsion of toxins.

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 The military has been improved, and corruption has been decreasing in many sectors. Russia simply needs to wait until nature chooses a good leader to rule the country.

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 Russian foreign policy is extremely weak and consists of miscalculation upon miscalculation, while domestic policy is simply ignored in favor of mass corruption. Things are changing, though. Immigration has been scaled back & some deportations have begun (more on the way trust)

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 Sad but true. Although the extent of this isn't as large as many think. The main concern I have is Chinese rescource extraction in Siberia. Thankfully, the government has been trying to be more self-reliant after sanctions, perhaps Chinese influence will also diminish over time

@EridanosEris @Vzeha1 Russia isn't that economically reliant on China, though. It's been cut-back recently.
