back to @JalterGroyper2's posts@nitrrogen__ You also neglect to mention that it was wholly a temporary measure of placating the locals, after the Soviet invasion and occupation. The impact that it left on Ukrainian national identity and even more so Ukrainian nationalism, is negligible.

@JalterGroyper2 Ukranianization was a catalyst and not simply a "temporary measure". Moreover, the very fact that the Soviet government felt the need to implement Ukrainization at all suggests that the Ukraine did not form a true national identity based in any historical roots.
