Britain genuinely feels so dead. There's no emotion, not optimism, no melancholy, no soul, nothing. "Nature" is reduced to a couple species of birds and insects on totally plain fields. There's no skyscrapers and megapopilises, just suburbanisation. It's all so fake. x.com/PETR0GRAD/stat…

Imagine living in Vorkuta. You feel the dread, the slow death of the city, you can truly experience it. Here it's just not present, there's no sombre melancholy accompanying the decline, only a charade of prosperity.
