@GenocideAfrica This is data from two different years to be fair (2022 & 2019) but the point still stands : Irkutsk sends way more to the center than it receives for its deficit. The center lives off the taxation of Irkutsk, not the other way around.

Irkutsk had a REGIONAL budget deficit of 13 billion rubles. If even just 1% (!!!) of mineral tax remained in the region it'd have been 4 billion surplus.

Moscow has manufacturing and production which can't be neglected in the economy but it's absolute nonsense to pretend Moscow finances the lazy regions.

Why do you want to get ruled by a country that only views you as tributary ? Russian-induced "European unification" would make all of Europe a colony for Moscow as most of Russia already is, without any further end, because the main goal of Russia is the destruction of Europe.
