The migration situation is totally incomparable to the West, as are the measures to change it. The West has a fundamentally different approach and mentality towards migrants.

Recent data points to a significant decrease in migration, naturalizations and hiring of illegal migrants as well as to a significant increase in migration refusals, deportations and detection of illegal migrants iin Russia.
