The Russian Revolution was a literal one-in-a-million event. So many wrong people had to be put in the wrong place for the October revolution to happen. The littlest change in the years of 1917-1918 could've prevented Bolsheviks coming to power altogether.

I mean, even the few days before the revolution and what sparked it was over a giant miscommunication, the blame of which falls entirely on Grigoriy Lvov and Kerensky.

Hell, the revolution itself was kicked off because Kerensky allied with the Petrograd Soviet against Kornilov.
