@nitrrogen__ @Zassthelurker @chud14_3 That was the start of it but they all spoke very close dialects until the mongol conquered what would become Russia and the poles conquered Byelorussia and Ukraine

@nitrrogen__ @Zassthelurker @chud14_3 I don't believe it was really polonized beyond loan words. I know it was called Eastern Polish by linguists at the time who didn't have a name for it, but only registers cossacks were close to poles, and other cossacks hated them because they were jealous of their pay
