@nitrrogen__ Of your goal is to take all of a given territory and only take a fraction thats a phyrric victory. The war got too costly and Russia opted out

@TheEternalKraut Also to say the USSR opted out would be wrong. Finland was not going to be able to stop a soviet advance after the Mannerheim line was overrun. It was the USSR who had leverage on the negotiating table.

@nitrrogen__ But their goal wasn’t to take a small bite out of Finland it was to annex Finland into the USSR. They achieved nothing of their goals from the war while Finland achieved all of its goals (surviving)
