@EuropeanPan @HuntSlavs4Sport That doesn't explain why they were heavily overrepresented in the Red Army.

Russians were 58% of the population and 51% of the army. Belarussians 2% of the army at 3% of the population.

But Ukranians were 16% of the population and a whole 30% of the Red Army. pic.x.com/jfgat5bgzt
