His little "rebrand" after the war was motivated by his dislike of Communism & American interests and not any genuine sympathy for the Third Reich.

@nitrrogen__ @skunk1489 From what I can tell, Patton did what he could in his capacity as military governor to mitigate the policies of denazification, so much so that his subordinates and superiors alike suspected he was trying to undermine the occupation entirely.
