And yes, the reason for wanting to restrict immigration is because there's a massive influx of Central Asians, combined with the terror attacks at Crocus & yesterday at Volgograd.

But that's missing the point completely & a dishonest interpretation of the data.

What an extremely shortsighted analysis.

For starters, the reason for the decrease in support for the restriction on African immigration is simply because of the fact that the few Africans that have came over in the recent years are few and far between, and mostly educated.

Firstly, only 5-8% of Russians would not object to Africans or Central Asians being their neighbors, friends, or family members. If we look at Europe for instance, this % is much higher. Only 11% of Russians would not object to immigration from CA, and 22% in the case of Africa. pic.x.com/8eh3ohwuph
