My argument wasn't just "The USSR could realistically produce many of the lend-leased goods domestically". That was a small part of it.

@nitrrogen__ People are unaware of just how dependent Germany was. Literally needed at least Soviet neutrality and re-started trade relations on their own. Ribbentrop dickrided Soviets in a letter out of fear trade stops. pic.x.com/d449e6nho5
